The reunion officially begins on Wednesday, May 16th and ends on Sunday, May 20th. You will be staying at the Wigwam Golf Resort & Spa located at 300 East Wigwam Blvd. Litchfield Park, Arizona 85340.
The room rate is $127.00 plus tax per night for the Adobe Traditional Room(a large room with sitting area). The room rate is $142 plus tax per night for the Oasis Terrance Room, this room includes a spacious terrace overlooking the courtyard pool. For those of you who choose to arrive early or stay late, both of the room rates are available 3 days before and 3 days after the official reunion dates, based on availability. Luke AFB Registration Clarification
There has been some confusion regarding the requirement to complete the form on page 11 of the Mig Sweep for admittance to Luke AFB for the Luke day during the 2012 reunion.
Those who have a military ID card do not need to submit the form with their registration. Anyone who has a valid military ID card may enter the base as usual whether driving or on the bus. A driver of a car will be asked for his/her ID card and they can escort anyone else who is in the car without the passengers having the form.
Those who ride the designated bus to Luke will not need the form as they will be vouched in by a person with a valid ID card. If you wish to get on base and NOT HAVE A VALID MILITARY ID CARD and are not traveling with someone who does, you must provide the requested information so you can be cleared before arriving at the base. If we do not have the information to the Security Police at Luke AFB at least 5 days before the reunion you may be denied access to the base for the Luke day briefings and the flight suit party. So if you think there is a chance you would like to drive on base and don't have a Military ID card, be sure to fill out the form
We understand the concern about security of member's Social Security Numbers. Stevie Henderson is the Registration POC and is compiling the required information for Luke AFB Security Personnel. You can provide the information to her via email, snail mail or phone. For added security you can email/snail mail all information except your SSN to Stevie, and then give her a call with your SSN.
