| 16 - 19 Sep 2010 | Air War College Class of 1974 Reunion I am Lt Col Denis Doty, a recent graduate of the Air War College Class of 2010, and am working on an upcoming Air War College Class Reunion for the Class of 1974. The Class of 1974 is a unique class in that several of the Air Force’s Prisoners of War from the Vietnam War were students in the class. |
| 20 - 23 Sep 2010 | PhanCon 2010 The F-4 Phantom II Society sponsors a once a year get togther for former F-4 drivers, WSO/EWOS, maintainers, and associated F-4 enthusiasts to meet and share past experiences, plus see the F-4 still flying. This year their PhanCon will be held at Tyndall AFB, FL. It will be a three day event with two days at Tyndall and one day trip over to Pensacola. Sign in is on Sept 20th with base activities starting early on the 21st through 23rd, and a banquet the evening of the 23rd. It has been a fairly small intimate convention in the past, usually a hundred or so in attendance. We had eight Rats in attendance last year. Would love to see more come by. The opportunity to see your favorite fighter up close and airborne is fast going away. |
| 1 - 4 Oct 2010 | 49th Fighter Group Association Reunion The Reunion will be at the Radisson Waterpark Hotel during the 39th Annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. The 49th Fighter Wing has a long and storied history in almost every conflict the United States has entered since the early 1940s. Today the 49 FGA has a membership of more than 500 former and current 49ers. Anyone interested in attending the reunion and joining the 49 FGA is encouraged to email Patti Baca at pbaca6@cox.net or write the 49 FGA Association, PO Box 52407, Mesa, Arizona, 85208. Dues are $15 a year or $100 for a life-time membership. Reunion registration is $110 per person. |

This is for all army, navy, marine, coast guard, and air force cadets, which includes pilots, navigators, observers and bombardiers. We are also inviting the student officers, other flight officers, and support personal, who trained along side us and of course their family members.
